Chemka Hot Springs, also known as Kikuletwa, consist of a series of small lakes filled with warm, crystal-clear waters, created by geothermally heated groundwater. Located in the village of Rundugai, between Arusha and Moshi, the springs are about a 2.5-hour drive from Arusha.

These hot springs are ideal for swimming, featuring a rope swing for the adventurous. You can also enjoy a unique experience with a free fish pedicure, as small fish nibble at your feet. The springs are surrounded by lush green forest, ancient fig trees, and the soothing sounds of bird songs and monkeys. The waters can reach depths of up to 10 meters, so non-swimmers should take caution.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha in the early morning and driven to the springs. After a few hours of relaxation—swimming, sunbathing, or reading—enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of the trees. After a therapeutic day, you’ll return to your hotel with Ankwa Tours and Safaris in time for dinner.
