Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Lake Duluti Retreat
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge near Arusha. Settle into the tranquil surroundings of Lake Duluti Lodge, surrounded by lush greenery and birdlife. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants
After breakfast, the safari adventure begins with a journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy exciting game viewing and a picnic lunch inside the park while spotting giraffes, lions, zebras, and diverse birdlife. In the afternoon, continue wildlife viewing before heading to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight on half board.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Scenic Highlands
Following breakfast, travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands and Maasai villages. Spend the day exploring the area and enjoying wildlife encounters across open plains and forests. A picnic lunch is served during the day. Later, arrive at Marera Lodge, located near Karatu, where you enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on half board.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day Exploration
After breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This natural wonder hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by dramatic scenery. In the evening, return to Marera Lodge for dinner and overnight on half board.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Endless Plains
This morning after breakfast, journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes before entering the vast savannahs teeming with wildlife. After a picnic lunch, enjoy afternoon game drives in search of predators and grazing herds. Arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp for dinner and overnight on full board.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains, known for exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year. Morning and afternoon game drives offer chances to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy meals at camp and relax between drives, soaking in the sounds of the African wilderness during your overnight stay on full board.

Day 7: Return to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and journey back toward Arusha. Upon arrival, enjoy a day room at Arusha Planet Lodge and a relaxing lunch. Later, you are transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of a memorable Tanzania safari filled with wildlife, landscapes, and unforgettable experiences.
